About the show
No subject is off limits

A filmmaker with a microphone
The Danny Jones Podcast is a weekly long-form conversation with people who have lived or studied something most of us only read about: CIA officers and the whistleblowers who left, physicists from CERN and NASA, cartel reporters, archaeologists, doctors who disagree with other doctors, and the occasional great white shark expert.
Danny came to it as a filmmaker. His company, Koncrete, made documentaries in Florida and the Caribbean before there was ever a podcast, and that is why the show looks the way it does. In the show's own words, it exists to bring fringe cultures to a wide audience through thoughtful storytelling and beautiful cinematography
.
Danny asks the question you were thinking, then the follow-up you weren't. Guests come back, some of them again and again, and a few of the best episodes are two of them disagreeing on camera.
Start at the very beginning, pick a rabbit hole or watch the 54 films that came first.
“From commercial grouper fishing to multimillion dollar real estate deals, and weekly conversations ranging from what it’s like to survive Brazilian death camps to robbing pill mills with a hypodermic needle, there is no subject off limits.”
